Keto Crackers

Today, I wanted to have a little fun in the kitchen.  Our family is coming for lunch tomorrow and some are on the Keto eating plan while others on the 21 day fix eating plan. I need to come up with food for both and this is a fun challenge for me.

 

I made Chocolate Chip Cookies for the grandchildren because Nana always has homemade cookies and grandchildren can eat whatever they want while at Nana & Umpa’s!

While trying to come up with appetizers I had remembered at one of our daughters bridal luncheons that the catering company had made Parmesan cheese crackers. Instead of using Parmesan cheese I decided to buy the cheese squares that were already the perfect size.

Lining my pans with parchment paper is key in this process so you don’t have your cheese sticking to the pan. I then laid the cheese squares in rows. I sprinkled a tiny bit of garlic salt on the plan cheddar cheese.

Then I baked at 400* for 15 minutes. I had to keep an eye on mine because the top rack cooked faster than the bottom. But in the end I have perfect sized cheese crackers.

The crackers turned out perfect! You too can do this when company comes over for an extra little touch to what you are serving!

I am serving them with pepperoni, green olives, black olives and possible Bruschetta. I am also serving wings with two different seasonings, a big salad, carrots and celery with ranch and blue cheese dressings. A perfect Sunday lunch at Nana and Umpa’s house after church on Sunday!
