Chicken Alfredo

This recipe is an easy weeknight meal! You say, easy, right? Yes, I mean EASY! Four ingredients and some chicken easy! Plus salt and pepper.

I should have added my salad to the plate so I would have some green in there.

I used penne pasta because that is what I had. Usually,  I use linguine pasta. The taste is the same.

What you need:

1 box of pasta

2 sticks of butter

3 cups of parm cheese

2 cups of heavy whipping cream

I did add chicken to mine but it is optional. If you add chicken you will need 2 chicken breast. Grill chicken for 7 minutes per side at medium heat.

Here we go:

First grill your chicken if you are adding chicken. It can rest while you make your pasta and sauce.

Boil water for pasta and add a generous amount of salt. Add pasta after water begins to boil and cook as directed on the box.

Melt your butter in a large pan and add cream. Stir butter and cream well. Add parm cheese and you are done with the Alredo Sauce!

If you add chicken to yours, just slice the chicken and add to sauce.

Next drain your cooked noodles.

Add your noodles and sauce together and you have it…Chicken Alfredo! I served it with bread and a salad. Enjoy!

Hope this was easy enough for you. Remember, the chicken is optional.

Happy Cooking!
