While looking through my pictures I realized had had left a few out so I wanted to share them with you so you can get the whole picture.
This is the first view of the house I saw:
I liked this shot because it shows the arbor over the garage and the marsh from the front stairs:
This shows how far/close the house is to the street:
The door to the downstairs game room is the first door to the left after entering the house:
With the door open it would be a tight squeeze. Also love the ceiling in the foyer:
Loved the sweet tea book in the pantry! I also saw this book at the open market in Charleston after being at the house:
The planters on the kitchen counters are beautiful! Big but beautiful! This pictures shows the beautiful detail of the planters.
From the back deck you can see the neighbors house which is also beautiful!
There is a good screen on the downstairs walls to keep out the bugs. I am not sure if you can see it in this picture but there are three types of wrapping. A larger wrap that is about 1 inch by 1 inch then a smaller screen and then a regular screen. Looks like it will keep everything out. Snakes, bugs, mice, etc. .
I hope you enjoy these last few pictures and that it helps you get the full picture.
Tonight we are making flip flops (cute) for my granddaughters spa party on Saturday which I will post for all of you party planners and I am going to post a dinner menu with recipes and grocery list so keep checking back to make your week less stressful! I will have it all done for you. Except the actual cooking of course.
love the screening details, now I feel safer down there from bugs. I like the planter view you show too! Still would banish them to deck somewhere. . .Thanks again for the details. Especially love the exterior views.
I love the exterior views too! And yes, move the planters off the counter! It would be hard to cook with them on the counter. Thank you minitoni!
I, too, liked the screening details. It is a nice diversion to look at the Dream Home from another perspective as we await the news of who the winner is. The clues are so general that the winner could be from just about anywhere in the United States. So many of us have our fingers crossed that we might be the lucky one. Guess we just have to wait for either the ambush or the news of the winner. In any event, it is always fun to dream. Thanks so much for sharing your photos:) Much appreciated:)
You are so welcome! I was really blessed that the dream home was so close us. I really wanted fellow bloggers to get the full picture. I was thinking of you all the entire time. Love every minute! Yes I am waiting for Monica to ring my bell too! Best of luck to you too!
The details are amazing…thank you! Just curious if the screen will keep out mosqitoes too? I am from SC to, so I know all about those pesky things 🙂
There were 3 levels of screening and one was like a screen that goes on a screen porch. I think it will keep the bugs out! You are so welcome!!
thanks for sharing your photos! Nice to get those added tidbits of info – and yes, the screening details quelled my concerns about critters, large and small gaining access! Best of luck!
Best of luck to you too!!!!! So glad to share the pictures with you!
