I kept hearing about how great homemade sweet potato fries are so I had to try it. I have had them out but never made them myself and of course a dip for them must be made also.
I went by the Fresh Market and got organic sweet potatoes. I washed them and cut them with a knife.
The sweet potatoes were a little on the large side so I only used one for all of these fries.
I then put them on a baking sheet and poured over about 1/8 cup of olive oil. I also sprinkled them with Emmeril’s Original Essence seasoning and garlic salt.
Then I baked them for 30 minutes at 400*. After baking I broiled them for about 2 minutes to get them a little crunchy. If your fries are cut bigger or smaller in size than mine you may have to decrease or increase cooking time.
The dipping sauce is:
1/4 cup mayo
1/4 cup Greek yogurt
1 teaspoon lemon juice
2 garlic cloves minced
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
For less calories you could spray you sweet potatoes with PAM and use light mayo!
Enjoy!
